
Aerosat have multiple franchise models, whereby external investors are awarded the opportunity to rollout their very own Aerosat Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) or Aerosat Café franchise in selected areas.
These franchises are owner operated, with the support of the Aerosat head office for consulting, corporate customer interaction and after sales support. The model for franchise development is adaptable to the specific requirements of the franchisee. The initial setup costs of such are weighted against the size of the prospective franchise and the amount of time required to train new employees.
Central operations of the franchise will be based at the franchisee's office location, with reporting structures in place to provide monthly feedback to the head office. Operation of the franchise will tie seamlessly into the rest of the Aerosat network, including all monitoring, graphing, account balance enquiries and connection statistics.
Bandwidth distribution will be rolled out by Aerosat on licensed PSTN infrastructure, or fed via the Aerosat Port Elizabeth network where available. Each franchise will be installed with at least 1 server, loaded with virtual machine software, to run the local services. Server and network configuration and changes are managed by head office, with general operation of the services managed locally by the franchise. License issues and legal aspects of the operation will be handled at head office by our legal team.
